Seriously , just get a chicken sandwich ..I travel a lot and it's one of the best I've ever had . This place is a great stop any time you're in the western yoop, totally worth getting off the highway

Checking off a few local bars in my Yooper Bars book around where we were staying on Lake Gogebic. We had to stop at the Hoop n Holler.  We did not order food But it's a perfect up north bar for a few local beers. Had a nice conversation with George the owner, wonderfully nice man. Stop in and check it out! The wood interior is the real deal

Was on the way back from Lake Superior and stopped in for a sandwich and a beer before returning to our cabin on the lake. Great view of northern end of lake Gogebic, and they have WIFI which is very helpful in this area! Had the Fish Sandwich which was pretty tasty, and my friend gulped down his burger pretty fast!. Bob was quite the character.

Nice small bar on the Lake Gogebic. Bar tender was very friendly and personable. She also poured some great drinks. We did not eat but all of the food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled awesome. If your in the area stop in for a drink and good conversation.

Service was a little odd, kinda hit or miss the couple times we stopped in during our snowmobiling trip.   We stopped in a couple times just for drinks.   We were hungry the last time we stopped in so we ordered dinner not expecting much.   My wife and I both ordered Cajun chicken sandwiches.   I have to say I was blown away!   The sandwich was amazing!!!  Everyone at our table was very impressed with their food.   Now we understand why this place has such a following.
